Quote of the day!

Any planet is ‘Earth’ to those that live on it.

Isaac Asimov

January 2, 1920: Prolific science fiction writer Isaac Asimov was also quite the fanboy—he was a member of societies dedicated to the Nero Wolfe mysteries, Gilbert and Sullivan’s comic operas, and the world of Sherlock Holmes.

  1. You’re so cool! I do not believe I’ve read a single thing like this before.
So wonderful to discover somebody with unique thoughts on this subject.
Really.. thank you for starting this up.

This website is one thing that’s needed on the internet, someone with a bit of originality!

  2. To this day, the Chinese still use pearl powder as a skin whitener
and a cosmetic, as do many other people around the world.
It is for this reason that we will consider
it separately, apart from the general view of
religion, giving it a category of its own. There is a wonderful science fiction story
‘ a John Collier story ‘ that brings this idea home.

  3. I tend not to leave many comments, but i did some searching and wound up here Quote of
the day! | Love Of Words. And I do have a couple of questions
for you if it’s allright. Could it be simply me or does it appear like some of these comments look like they are left by brain dead visitors?
😛 And, if you are writing at other social sites, I would like
to follow everything new you have to post. Could you make a list of every one of your shared
pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

that it is truly informative. I am going to watch out for brussels.
I will appreciate if you continue this in future.
A lot of people will be benefited from your writing.

    • Thanks so much Ivan for your kind words! I really appreciate it! If you haven’t signed up for the blog’s daily posts via email, please do. I do a “Quote of the day” post daily by a writer whose birthday is that particular day with tidbits of information about that person. It’s fun & keeps me writing! I also do a “Word of the day” post with words I find interesting. I also include a couple of passages where the word is used in context. Hope you come back and check it out soon!
      All My Best,
      Jill aka 1morganlefaye
