  1. Was just talking to my wife about her this morning (not even knowing it’s her B-day). I’m about to make a 4th or 5th (lost count) venture into her book (and my very favorite novel of all time), The Vampire Lestat; and my wife was telling me about “The Vampire’s Ball” held in New Orleans every October. ~ Great post!

    • Believe it or not, I’ve never read any of her work (Gasp! I know!) Saw the movie and loved it so the books have to be fantastic. 😉 They’re on my To Read List. Is The Vampire Lestat the 1st in the series?

      • I think Interview…is the first. However, after seeing the movie, which I LOVED, I could not get into the book. BUT, let me just say…, I’m not much of a novel reader… I’m more into non-fiction. However, The Vampire Lestat reads like good wine drinks. My take on it is that it is psychology and poetry disguised as novel! So rich. So deep. I’m always sad when I finish it because it is such a wonderful tale and adventure. Honestly, if I had your address I would send it to you. It’s THAT good. And this is the perfect time of year read it. ~ Enjoy! 🙂
