Quote of the Day!

Today’s quote is from a writer whose masterpiece Doctor Zhivago, was well worth the time I put in to figuring out the characters and then it was amazing from there. It’s not the easiest novel to read but oh, so worth it!

I don’t like people who have never fallen or stumbled. Their virtue is lifeless and it isn’t of much value. Life hasn’t revealed its beauty to them.

Boris Pasternak

September 5, 1957: When the Soviet Union wouldn’t allow Doctor Zhivago to be published, author Boris Pasternak’s friends had it smuggled to Milan, where it came out 56 years ago today. It later won the Nobel Prize.
